Intern­ship Laser Meas­ure­ment and Engin­eer­ing

Work­ing field:

devel­op­ment of non-con­tact­ing laser meas­ure­ment or engin­eer­ing, the man­u­fac­tur­ing of new products and product pro­cessing by using lasers, the devel­op­ment of new laser sys­tems to applic­a­tions in med­ical tech­no­logy and the live sci­ences

  • Sample pre­par­a­tion for spec­tro­scopic meas­ure­ment, e.g. pre­par­ing a solu­tion with a cer­tain con­cen­tra­tion
  • Per­form­ing spec­tro­scopic (Raman) meas­ure­ments
  • Doc­u­ment­a­tion and eval­u­ation of the data


Pre­ferred field of study: Phys­ical Chem­istry, instru­mental ana­lyt­ics, or sim­ilar sub­jects
Lan­guage skills: Eng­lisch (excel­lent), Ger­man (basic)
Com­puter skills: Ori­gin (good), Mat­Lab (basic)
Spezi­al­isa­tion: Expier­ence in vibra­tional spec­tro­scopy
Dur­a­tion of the intern­ship: 3-6 months, start­ing in July or August 2017
